The Mission:

Light on Ayurveda Educational Foundation, Inc., (LOAEF) is formed to disseminate information about the science, practice and philosophy of the Ayurvedic health care system, to provide the Ayurvedic community with a means of communication and networking, to foster Ayurvedic education, and to promote research of Ayurvedic practice.

Your membership supports the following goals, helping to make Ayurveda known and practiced in every household.

Carrying out the mission:

Education, networking and communication form the core purpose of this organization.

  1. LOAEF's quarterly publication, Light on Ayurveda: Journal of Health (LOAJ), is geared for all levels of interest, from beginning students to experienced practitioners.

  2. LOAJ.com offers the Ayurvedic enthusiast and the general public access to Ayurvedic articles, a directory of practitioners, a searchable calendar of events, and a listing of Ayurvedic schools.

  3. Brochures and educational pamphlets will be made available to educate the general public and the clientele of Ayurvedic practitioners.

  4. Future goal: establishment of a scholarship for Ayurvedic studies.

Light on Ayurveda Educational Foundation

In Spring 2009, the Three R’s Foundation was entrusted with the light on Ayurveda Educational Foundation in supporting the publication of Light on Ayurveda Journal which is published by the Center for Indic Studies, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. This foundation has then become an integral part of the Three R’s Foundation.

Pandit Ramadheen Ramsamooj

Director/Founder of the Three R's Foundation. Director/Founder/Spiritual Head of Saraswati Mandiram. Research Scholar/Lecturer of Center for Indic Studies, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Has completed a diploma in Ayurveda. Was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Rastriya Sanskrit University, Tirupati, India for work done in Sanskrit, Yoga, Ayurveda, and Education. An arid proponent of Ayurveda, Educator, Engineer, Philosopher, Musician, and Yoga Therapist.
